This is a topic containing grind spots from lvl 10-60 both for Horde and Alliance. Grind spot list. Before I start, you need to realize this is not a complete 1-60 leveling guide, it's just a guide that will help you find some good grinding spots, if you need a leveling guide, the best one is Joana's Classic WoW leveling guides. This AddOn is currently considered old. Content is retained for reference or subsequent updates. This set of AddOns is no longer maintained or supported, but this page will remain for historical reasons. Cosmos is a set of User Interface mods from CosmosUI.org. If you're totally new to Cosmos, please read the Cosmos Beginner's Guide to find out how you would have gotten started and how you. My guild member recently uploaded a screenshot of their UI and mentioned world of Warcraft has an in game option to show FPS. I was unable to find this in the settings. Anyone know the drop rate on this 5% doesnt seem right to me, i have ran scarlet mon. Graveyard 35 times and gotten everything but the dagger Comment by 267417 A twink rogue on my server ran SM GY 63 times to get one of these to drop. The chance to get the drop in x runs is 1 - 0.94^x. So, if you do 5 runs you'll have 26.6% chance, 10 runs 46%, 15 runs 60.5%, 20 runs 71%. There's a fair chance you'll get one within 5 runs, but don't count on it.

I already talked a little bit about the upcoming Glyph of Felguard a few days ago and I have to admit that I'm having a lot of fun with it on the Beta. A quick romp through Molten Core followed by a trip to the PvP vendor (who is currently accepting gold instead of honor for testing purposes) got me an Obsidian Edged Blade and a few other flashy weapons to play around with. As a side note, despite being much easier at 90, you can still die in there by pulling multiple raid bosses while soaked in debuffs.

What I want to do now is take a quick look at some of my favorite eligible weapons that you may or may not also want to start farming for your own collection. Even with the leveling scene in WoW being comprised mostly of fairly bland weapon models, Blizzard has had 8 long years to make plenty of really cool weapons for us to choose from so I'm going to break it up by expansion so as not to make this a novella.

Note: Some of these weapons are locked behind bosses that are impossible or very hard to solo, meaning that you will likely be in a group when you see it drop. Keep a link to the glyph handy and state your intentions before you start pulling trash. You may or may not be able to actually hit the 'Need' button and a little communication beforehand will prevent your prize from being disenchanted.

Obsidian Edged Blade - I'm listing this one as a Classic WoW drop despite being available from the level 80 version of Onyxia, simply because it drops from 4 bosses in Molten Core to Onyxia's 1, all of which can be easily soloed by any warlock at level 85. If you're farming for this one, MC is your best bet. It's also worth noting that there is a slight colorization difference between the level 60 weapon and it's level 80 cousin. I can tell you from experience that this one looks very, very awesome when being swung around in circles at high speed, it's somewhat reminiscent of a blender.

Blackblade of Shahram - Be prepared to spend quite a bit of time in Upper Blackrock Spire if you've set your sights on this one. Wowhead currently lists it at a 1.9% drop rate off of General Drakisath, the last boss in the instance. Even skipping as much trash and as many bosses as possible, you're still likely to see upwards of 15-20 minutes per run. That said, it's a very unique sword model and is well worth the trouble. If you're not up for farming UBRS endlessly, check the auction house for a Massacre Sword that shares the model, if not the colorization.

Side note - I would also recommend grouping with an enchanter whenever possible as every boss drop in Blackrock Spire can be disenchanted into a Large Brilliant Shard, a vital ingredient in most popular heirloom enchants. Prices hiked up to as much as 50G a shard at the start of Cataclysm and a full clear of Upper and Lower spire would net me as much as 2,000G in enchanting mats and cloth. We can expect a similar price jump at the beginning of MoP. Remember that they don't need to be inside the instance with you or even online, just in the group.

Kalimdor's Revenge - Ah, Twin Emperors. The horror stories you have inspired even well after you were considered outdated content. While this particular item is not one of my favorites, it's unique and has a certain flair as well as a fair amount of lore behind it. You can also chase down Manslayer of the Qiraji, it's little brother in AQ10.

Wow Classic Torturing Poker Drop Rate Guide

Dark Edge of Insanity - Possibly the most gruesome weapon model in the game, it's hard to beat an axe made of corrupted flesh with a roving and blinking eyeball in the center for simple intimidation factor. Grab some friends and go kick an Old God's teeth eyes in. Just be prepared to roll against everyone else in the raid.
Ashkandi, Greatsword of the Brotherhood - One of the most coveted weapons in the game and an icon of Vanilla WoW. Grab some friends and head into Blackwing Lair, kill Nefarian, curse Nefarian for not dropping this weapon, repeat next week.
Grand Marshal's Claymore - Just because you're not a Grand Marshal doesn't mean your Felguard needs to be. Rock out with one of the largest sword models in the game for the low price of 290 honor at your local Legacy Weapon Quartermaster. (Note: While this worked for me on the beta, it's entirely possible that this will change before launch. You may want to wait until after MoP hits before you spend the points.)

High Warlord's Pig Sticker - For every Alliance exclusive item, I'll try to include a Horde item just to keep things fair. After all, I play a Human but I'm a Blood Elf at heart. Like the Claymore above, you can grab this for an affordable 290 honor in Orgrimmar. It's my personal favorite of the Vanilla PvP weapons.

Blackhand Doomsaw - If you're going for Shahram, you'll need to kill Rend Blackhand in the process. You may as well keep your eye out for this one.

Barbarous Blade - A no-nonsense weapon that speaks of utility over flash, just like your Felguard! You can farm King Gordok in Dire Maul for this one, or you can grab a completely identical Fel Orc Brute Sword off the auction house.

The Blackrock Slicer - Seriously. It's a giant razor blade. Maybe it's just me, but I think that's pretty awesome. Seeing as it drops off of a rare spawn boss in Lower Blackrock Spire, you may be better off grabbing a Razor Axeoff the auction house.

There are literally dozens of other weapons that I had to prune off of this post for one reason or another, so while these are the 'all stars', it's certainly not an all inclusive list. Open up AtlasLoot and have at it.
Next time, Burning Crusade options.
